talk talk box alongside free sat
I use talk talk broadband and telephone. The talk talk hub is connected to a Freesat box for TV. Is it possible to have a dual tv system, ie get a talk talk box and subscribe to talk talk tv for sky sports, so that I can easily switch between either freesat or talk talk.
Dark picture on youview
Hi my picture on youview has gone dark. I have tried all the usual things. Changed HDMI cable, switched everything off, pulled out all plugs. This did not work so did a factory reset(saving recordings) but no joy.

DN370t Update Missing
Hi.
Could you tell me if it's worth doing a maintenance reset on my DN370t to get the latest software update. I know the rollout has been completed on this box.
I use a BT Humax DTRT1000 as my main box.
I dusted off my old TT box just to give the new update a test, bit it states I have the latest version.
Have i missed the update for this box?
Youview software update unable to add mobile device.
Since my Youview box updated to the latest software I am unable to add a mobile device running the Android Youview App.
The app searches but fails to find a Youview box and tells me to set it up manually. But, there is no longer an option to add mobile devices in the new software. This was possible with the previous software but it seems the option has now been removed.
I am now stuck. How do I connect my mobile app?
Thanks.

I was also charged £19.60 for the call which resulted in all 3 of my mobiles being disconnected for going over some imaginary usage limit.
It's about time Nick Gunga read the feedback and stop sending endless survey emails on Customer satisfaction, then maybe there can be more resolutions rather than problems.
Remote control has no control.
Hi, my remote control is having no effect. I cant change channels or use any of the functions. If I turn off the box and restart everything works perfectly. Yesterday I switched the box on from standby and the remote control was not having any effect. I have tried the + and - buttons and the front on off switch on the box but they do not work when the remote as no control. I think there must be a problem with the box. The box is a Huawei DN 372T.
New replacement DN372T box with new issues
On 10 March 2017 I received a new replacement DN372T following Freeview recording playback issues with my previous box.
After two days with the new box I noticed picture breakup and pixellation on a couple of Freeview channels and yesterday afternoon and evening the same again but across a much wider range of channels (SD and HD). Signal Quality on all my Freeview channels is usually rock-solid at 100%, but on checking the channels displaying these issues, this had dropped significantly and was wavering between 68 - 75 %
I took the opportunity to swap over to my Humax Youview box to check the signals and all channels were Signal Quality 100%, likewise connecting the aerial directly to the tv displayed no issues.
I subsequently performed a Maintenance Mode procedure (delete recordings) on the new box but this failed to eradicate the problem. I left the box disconnected overnight and reconnected it this morning and the issues are no longer apparent and Signal Quality levels have all returned to 100%. Perhaps switching the box off and allowing it to cool overnight has helped? (Note: the box is usually always left connected and in Smart Standby Mode).
I am reporting this as my previous box very occasionally displayed the same intermittent issues and I notice that a number of other customers have reported similar into this forum. I strongly suspect I haven't seen the back of this issue and that this box is faulty too, but will monitor and post back here should there be a reccurrence.

TV plus channels
Recently signed up to broadband and TV plus but I'm getting conflicting information about what channels are included. I know I get the freeview channels and the TV starter boost is included but information about the box on the website when i signed up said: "The TV Plus box also comes with 30+ premium channels...". However, when I tried to confirm this on the live chat they seemed to be telling me that to get those 30 premium channels I would need to pay extra. Does the TV plus package include these as standard or not?

TV PLus - Series Link gives erratic results (some programmes only?)
Hi,
I am new to TalkTalk TV and only received my TV Plus box a few days ago.
Pretty impressed on the whole but I tried to record Spongebob (I know, its not for me!) using the series link function. Half a day later it had recorder 42 episodes! (ie ALL of them I guess) - seems to be ok for the other programmes as far as I am aware at least.
Also I tried to series link record Gogglebox, but it does not show an option to do a series link on that programme, any ideas please?
Many thanks
Adrian
Humax DTR-T2000 Problem
Hi,
I have seen similar in a few other threads, but I am having problems with the boost channels being missing on my T2000 and the box failing to update.
I tried resetting it, but at the point in the setup where it should do updates it fails then never asks for the postcode, etc. Looking in the settings the ISP config is blank.
I don't know if it's related but I while ago I signed up for the new firmware trials for the Huawei 970, but couldn't stand it crashing any longer while I waited for the update, so went back to the Humax which had been fine until today.

Catch Up TV
Before the software update catch up TV worked fine. Easy to operate. After the update seems more hassle. Sometimes catch up works and sometimes fails to load. Reset the box and sometimes works. Intermittent fault. Anyone else had a similar problem?
Change primary box
Hi,
Following on from the thread here, could one of the OCE's please change my primary box to the one with the ID ending 4a22 please?
I've switched back to the DN370T as the Humax won't update at the moment.

DSL-3782/TT keeps crashing
Now my DSL3782 has started crashing and causing vast amounts of pixelation !!
Last night router restarted twice for no apparent reason. Thinking that someone might be trying to rectify other problem I pin restarted it early last night, but overnight it must have crashed twice as this morning I had no internet on my computer and log showed that it had been connected for 2 hours. Restarted computer and kept getting log in to router on both IE and Firefox. Restarted both computer and router and problem disappearred.
Tonight I have had dreadful pixelation on my TV service following 2 warnings of 105 despite show still being on so pressed back and 5 minutes later same error message with show behind, again pressed back, 5 minutes later whole screen just pixelation for a minute or so.Then all temporarily O.K..
What are you guys doing to me.????
Is this the way it is designed to work ?
I am on the latest release of TT TV - Youview software.
This morning we lost the internet, so unable to do anything useful I decided to watch some TV. The system would not start as it seemed to be waiting for some information via the Internet, which it was not receiving, so it was effectively frozen.
Is that correct - if my internet is down I can't even watch freeview because of the way the "new" software TT Tv initiates ?
Powerline Adapters.
I have been with TT for about 5 years now and on numerous occasions I have had problems pairing the powerline adapters so that I can get internet connection with the youview box.
A couple of months ago I stopped my boost TV subscription(£5) which gave me the 6 x sky channels. Within an hour the channels were no longer accessible, great that's what I wanted, but since then I could no longer connect the youview box to the internet because the adapters were not pairing.
I tried every method reccomended but with no joy.
I then placed the adapters next to each other in a double house socket and connected the 2 adapters with a 1 metre ethernet cable and then carried out the pairing procedure and bingo they paired up immediately.
I then plugged the adapters into there normal sockets and everything is working great.
If anyone else is having problems you could try the above method.
Intermittent internet on you view box following update
My Humax youview box has recently has recently had a software update. Since then internet connectivity has been patchy when using a direct ethernet cable or wifi bridge. When connected, the download speed is not sufficient to watch Iplayer etc. Any help gladly received
